The magic of Cheerios!

When I went to this session, 1 year-old Kathleen was asleep. Her Mom and I were worried that she might wake up grumpy because she is teething but she woke up all smiles and took to me right away, so I knew this would be a good session.

Kathleen was so versatile. She let us dress her up in several outfits, change her hair, and take her indoor and outdoors. Towards the end of the session, we decided to put Kathleen in the tutu---SO CUTE! I wasn't sure if she would last much longer but then I remembered that I had used Cheerios with another 1 year-old girl when she was starting to lose her patience and it worked like a charm! Gotta love Cheerios!

Holiday Cards

It's that time again. Time to start thinking about the holidays. Here are some of the card designs France Photography offers. They look very fancy on folded 5x7 cards. Your friends will rave over them. These unique cards will not get thrown away! Please contact me if you'd like to me to design your holiday cards with images from a past session.

My first 2007 Senior!

The school year has just begun and I've already done my first "class of 2007" Senior! Kristi is so cute and fun to work with. We had many adventures trying to race the light, avoiding a drunk man, getting sprayed by a fountain on a windy day, and trying to get my awkward, pregnant body go up on window ledges and down low in the middle of the street. Good times! Best of luck to you, Kristi!

FUNDRAISER

You should all know how much I LOVE babies (which is why we are having another one and why I love my job!). Because of my love for babies, I have been "arrested" by the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation and I need to "raise my bail" to help save babies. Please sponsor me by donating $25, $10, or even $5 to the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation. My goal is to donate at least $300. Just go to Http://jailandbail.marchofdimes.com/francephotography and make your donation. It's really easy and fast to do (I donated last year and it took less than 5 minutes) and every little bit counts. I need to "raise my bail" by September 13th 2006 so don't wait, do it now!
Thanks in advance to all of you who help me to save babies through the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation!

Gerber Baby

I think I found the next Gerber baby model. Tristan, the Gerber baby-look alike, and Lauren (see her images below) are very photogenic and it shows.

I love what I do!

This session was ideal! The kids were very easy to work and Mom and Dad just stood back and let me do my thing which really makes a difference. I just love how all the images turned out and so did their parents. In fact, I got an email from their mom saying, (I hope this doesn't embaress you, Jenny, but it made my day!)
*I just wanted to thank you again for doing such a great job with Lauren and Tristan's portraits. They turned out absolutely amazing, you do beautiful work. We will cherish these photos always!!!*
Comments like that make me love what I do even more!

Daddy's Boy

Newborns are so fun to "mold" because they sleep so well. Braden was another baby from my "Bellies and Babies" package and was pretty alert even at 1 week old so I got some sleepy ones and some of him wide awake. I just love how squished and wrinkly he looks in the first image! New babies look so tiny and delicate in their Daddy's big, strong arms. I love that contrast. Can you tell his Daddy likes baseball? I can just see them playing ball in a couple years together but for now he can just snuggle in Daddy's arms.

Brainless Pregnant Photographer

I have never been so brainless during a pregnancy as I have with this one. It has been mostly with my clients too. For example, I gave one client a DVD case without the DVD in it, I have gone to an Ordering Session without the proofs (gotta have those to place an order!), and I have thrown away a client's order. So this post is just to say THANK YOU to all my clients for being patient with my spacy pregnant brain.

50-50

I love how sweet Ande looks in the hat image and then how tough he looks in the others. Perfect combination to please both Mom and Dad. I think that's what most parents want in their little boys--- 50% sweet, 50% tough. It balances things out.

Brookie

Ande and Brookie were adorable together and just as cute in their individual shots. In the last one of Brookie we got a great windblown look that turned out looking supercool with that dress!

{Built-in Buddies}

This brother and sister were so adorable for their photoshoot. You could tell they were definitely "built-in buddies." They are only 18 months apart but are the best of friends. As you can see, we had a great time. They thought it was HILARIOUS when I told them to stop looking at me or when I said NOT to smile. Being together made it even more funny. I had such fun capturing their bond!

"Bellies and Babies"

Meet Londyn, one of *my babies* from a client with a "Bellies and Babies" package. I love doing this package because I get to see the BEFORE and AFTER. It's so fun being part of people's lives like this where I watch Mom and Dad go from anxiously awaiting to being oh, so proud... and a little sleep deprived! Londyn came really early so we barely got done with the "Bellies" part of the package before it was time for the "Babies" part. Isn't she sweet?!
