Belly and Baby!

This is one of my "Bellies and Babies" clients. I just love doing my "Bellies and Babies" Portrait Plans because I get to be a part of the fun and anticipation that comes with pregnancy and a newborn. Baby "E" was such an angel (pardon the picture pun) during the photoshoot and so was her dog!!! I was amazed that the dog sat so still for this pose but the baby LOVED sleeping on him because he was all warm and cozy. In fact, she cried when we took her off!

{Overalls}

This is one of my returning clients that I took newborn shots of one year ago. He was cute then and he is darn cute now! "C" is the baby of 6 kids. In fact, the overalls he is wearing are very special because they were worn by all of his older brothers and sisters!! I thought that was so sweet and sentimental!

Sweet sisters

I had so much fun with this session because these little girls were so darn cute and happy! I just love doing fru-fru girly stuff for photographs so this was double the fun.

My baby is 4 months old!!!

Time flies. Abe is getting so big and it makes me sad. Good thing I can take pictures to remember what he looked like but I want him to stay a baby forever!!! Especially since he slept through the night last night--WAHOO!

Sentimental Storyboard

This Storyboard is really sentimental because that is the song I sing to my baby before I put him in his crib and then I turn the mobile on. I just love how he looks all wrapped up staring at his mobile. I am hoping I portrayed that story in it. I also love these booties because he used to wear them almost everyday and they are just so...baby.

Addison

Meet baby Addison! I love her name! We were actually going to name our son this if he were a girl. This is one of my really good friend's babies so I have been waiting in suspense for her birth. She was SO good for the pictures and just slept almost the whole time. I think the trick was using a blow dryer in the background. I think the one in the chair is so sweet because it's her great grandmother's chair!

My last Senior.

Brianna is one of the most driven Seniors I have photographed. I was impressed by her being the only girl on her high school football team and with her plans to work at an orphanage in Africa for the summer. She is the last high school Senior I will be photographing since I really want to focus more on my passion of doing Newborns, Babies and Children's portraits. Brianna and I had lots of creative ideas that were fun to try and, as usual, some adventures like crazy-wind and getting kicked out of the park (the gates locked at 7--oops!) But that's nothing for a girl who's used to getting body slammed and who will be roaming with wild animals this summer. You go girl!

All I have to say is why can't I look that good when I am pregnant? Megan, you are gorgeous!

Barbie is a Baby Photographer!

My kids and I were browsing the toy section at Target so they could buy something with their monthly allowance and what do I find--Barbie the Baby Photographer!!! How cool is that! I tried to convince my daughter to save up her allowance for this one but she wanted a Barbie then and there so she bought the cheapo beach Barbie. Guess what she'll be getting for Christmas whether she likes it or not--he.he.he.

I'm back!

This was my first session after Maternity leave and it was SO much fun. I forgot how much I LOVE what I do! For this session, I got to go to Roland's house on his 3rd birthday and we had a great time playing together! He was such a fun kid and is (obviously) very photogenic. His big blue eyes are so adorable and could just make you melt. Happy Birthday Roland!!!

Brekken's a Babe!

Here are some Senior pictures that I took of my cousin-in-law, Brekken. I have known her since she was just in grade school and now she's graduating and she's turned out to be quite a babe!

Due

These pictures are way past due of one of my photographer friends who is due in March! We took Maternity pictures of each other (see below for the link of mine) when we got together in November (she lives in Utah) and I am finally getting around to posting them. She is so cute and we had a great time working together. You can't tell but it was raining, windy and freezing cold so I only got a couple of outdoor shots of her. I just love her little pouch and can't wait to see the photographs she takes of this little one.
