Christmas Cards!

Wow! I can't believe it's November already! Time to start thinking about Christmas. Most of you know that I offer Custom Christmas Cards. I have several designs that will fit your style. My cards come as bifold or trifolds in boxes of 25. These cards are sure to impress your friends and family! People will not throw these cards away (in fact, I had one client say that someone framed hers). If that's not enough reason to order them, I am having a CHRISTMAS CARD SPECIAL: Buy 4 boxes and get the 5th box free! That's a savings of up to $95!

Bring on the Babies!!!

A few of my "Bellies n' Babies" Moms had their babies so the next couple of post will be beautiful newborns. This one has THE cutest dimples! Isn't she sweet? Her parents are just as sweet too. Their house had the BEST light with skylights and big ole windows-- a photographer's dream.

My Sick baby

Poor thing. My baby has had a fever since we got home from Utah (which by the way was a spontaneously, fun trip). He's already a mild-mannered boy but when he is sick, he is just a sluggish little lump. This is the first time he's been sick which is amazing! Seems like my other 2 were sick all the time when they were babies, with ear infections and bronchiolitis etc. BUT he has nursed the longest of them all and hence, is the healthiest.

I took him to Urgent Care yesterday and they knew nothing more than I did (there goes $40!) but this morning he woke up with a blotchy rash all over his body. I am pretty sure he has Roseola because those are the symptoms. So, I stayed home from Church with him and while he's napping, I thought I would post some pics of the sweet Babe.

Don't you love how my older two are mauling him? That is the story of his life.

2 Kids and a Horse!

These kids were great to work with and very well-mannered. This was my first experience in photographing horses and I won't lie to you, it was not easy! I called this gal "The Horse Whisperer" because she was this young girl walking around with this HUGE horse and she did fabulous with him. Of course, it helps when we bribe them with treats....the horse AND the kids- LOL!

Labor and delivery

This beautiful Mom-to-be is due any day now with her first baby! She's a labor and delivery nurse so she should be a PRO when she delivers her baby! We did this session at her house which is why I don't own a studio because homes are much cuter than a boring studio would be. Don't you just love her living room!?

Look out ladies...

These boys are good looking! They were both in the "getting-your-picture-taken-is-uncool stage" but they humored me and their mom and we still had a good time. Check out the awesome eyes on both of them. I love how they are brothers but have such different features. Oh, and Bella, I would save that last picture for BRIBERY when he is older...he.he.he.

{Glowing}

This client was just glowing throughout the whole session. She and her husband were so cute together too. This will be their first baby and they are not finding out what it is so they are really excited for him/her to come! I am excited too since that means I get to do a newborn photoshoot!

Contest #1

For those of you that check this regularly, we will be having our first contest to kick-off our business going full-time. So here it is:

We love referrals! To reward those who refer their friends and family to us, we are going to be giving away one custom leather photo purse to whomever sends us the most clients from now until the end of the year. Clients must be booked to receive credit for the referral and they can even book sessions into next year and you will get the credit for it!

We will also be starting up our Referral Program again. For every client that books a session, you AND your referred friend will each receive a complimentary 8x10. Fru-Fru

This beautiful baby girl was adopted at birth by a wonderful family. I had the privilege of taking her pictures which was so fun since I haven't photographed any baby GIRLS for a while! I just love the fru-fru (hence the bows and tutus) of baby girls. Doesn't that last picture just make you want to squish those chubby cheeks??

France Photography is going full-time! My husband, Matt, quit his current job so he could become the manager of France Photography!!!

What it means for me:

• I get to work with my best friend
• I will have more help with EVERYTHING including our 3 kids (wahoo!)
• We will be much more organized since that is Matt's strength (and my weakness).

What it means for you:

• Better customer service
• Faster turn-around times on orders
• We will be taking on several more clients!!!

Secrets!!!

France Photography is going to be doing some BIG changes for the better but I have to keep it a secret for now (and also just because it's fun to tease you!) It will involve contests for you local blog readers and much more, so keep checkin' back.

Oh and what's a post without pictures? Here's one of my middle child on our HUGE tire swing. When my husband said he was going to hang one from our big tree I envisioned a quaint little tire that would be perfect for pictures but I got this Monster Truck tire instead. LOL! Oh well... the kids like it.

{Lucious locks}

This is a previous client that is not a baby anymore. He's walking and talking and fully of energy. I couldn't believe how much he had changed in a year (that's how old my baby will be next summer and it makes me sad that he won't be a baby anymore). The only thing that is baby about him is his hair. His Mom hasn't cut it EVER (she was holding out for the photoshoot) and those curls are just PRECIOUS!!!

P.S. If you look real close at the reflections in the bubbles, you can see his family (and me) all around him. I thought that was pretty cool!

This guy just turned 2 (see his darling shirt) and, like most 2 year-olds, he had his own little agenda so I just followed him around while he played. He and his Mom were SO cute together! I don't think I've gotten so many sweet "Mommy n' Me" pics before in a session. He just adores her and it shows!
