I am 28 today and I have to admit, I am a Birthday Queen. I count down the days and remind everyone (like I'm doing now). I even put a note on my Mom's calendar on my half-birthday in June to start saving up for it ;0).
It's also my daughter's birthday. Yes, she was born on my birthday to dethrone me from hogging the day (and the week and the month) but I sure love her. She's turning into a Birthday Queen as well. She's been counting down too and she even says in her prayers that she's thankful that her birthday is coming up. Well, it's here and so I had to share some portraits of her that I LOVE because it is SO her. She is just silly and smart and spirited all in one and now she's 6--wow! That makes me feel old more than being 28.
I'd sure love for all you lurkers to post a comment for my birthday. I know you're out there!

I didn't know you share a bday with Savannah...and I really can't believe you have a 6 year old!!! Mariko's bday is tomorrow. Good times with the december bdays! Have a great one. (cuuuuuute pics of savannah by the way...)

We think about it every year because your birthday falls on our anniversary. Also, because if you'll remember, my friend Cindy's birthay is the week before yours and she too had her 1st baby on her birthday the same year you had Savannah. Weird, right?

Happy Birthday Sis and neice. I'm a day late and a week behind for the mail to get you. I love being 28. I was forgetful and it took till August for me to realise I was. I am such a birthday hog, too! My daughter was due a week before my birthday and i was kinda sad to share the week/month, and i was lucky to have her 3 weeks early so we each get our own month:) But how fun for you to share her day:) I like the first shot a lot.
